Human Resources Assessment
A human resource assessment offers a detailed snap shot of existing human resource practices within your organization with the objective of providing answers to several important questions. Specifically,
- Do current policies and procedures adequately
govern all aspects of
employment within your
organization?
- Have policies and procedures been effectively
communicated to all employees?
- Are policies and procedures applied in
a fair
and consistent manner throughout the
organization?
- Does your organization complywith state
and federal employment regulations?
Areas of Focus Include -
- Disciplinary procedures
- Documentation and record keeping
- Employee benefits
- Employee Handbook
- Job descriptions
- Performance planning and review
- Pre-employment practices
- Terminationss
- Post employment practice
- Wage and hour
- Workplace safety
A thorough human resource assessment can generally be accomplished with a two-day site visit to your location. Upon completion of the site review, a four to five week process will commence that results in the delivery of a written analysis outlining current human resource practices within your organization. This report specifically identifies operational risks, compliance status, recommendations, and best practices.
A conference call follows approximately one week after you receive the assessment to discuss the results and determine future strategies.
